The ET41 loc omotive is a normal-gauge two-unit electric freight locomotive called "Dachshund", produced between 1977 and 1983 at the Hipolit Cegielski Railway Vehicle Plant in Poznań.

The ET41 is based on the design of the EU07 electric locomotive with structural changes. The locomotive sections are connected by a screw coupling, pneumatic cables, multiple control cables and a constructed transition between sections. The set, with a continuous power of 4000kW, can "pull" extremely heavy wagons with a total weight of 4000 tons at a speed of 70 km/h (theoretically it is possible to increase the weight even to 5000 tons).

A total of 200 ET41 locomotives were produced.

News 2023: ET41 PKP print variant in Era IV design. Like the large prototype, the PIKO ET 41 model embodies a clear, functionally reliable and low-maintenance design. As a double locomotive, the PIKO model consists of a powered vehicle segment and a non-powered segment. Thanks to its powerful engine with two precisely balanced flywheels and gimbal drives on both two-axle bogies, the PIKO ET 41 has very balanced running characteristics. The high unladen weight combined with the diagonal traction tires of the inner driving axles of the bogies provides prototypically high tractive force. Since the four axles of the non-driven segment are also used for power pickup, and the two segments are connected via a conductive short coupling, the model has extremely safe power pickup by a total of 16 wheels. The model is prepared for digital operation and sound retrofitting. As a special feature, it is possible to switch to catenary operation.
