Volvo FH - trucks manufactured by Volvo Trucks, FH is the first letters from the words Front High, and the number stands for engine capacity.
In 1993, the Volvo FH began to be designed from scratch, and it took as long as seven years. It also designed a new 12-liter engine, symbol D12, with a camshaft in the head and electronically controlled fuel injection, which made Volvo a world leader in engine design.
In September 2012 Volvo Truck unveiled a new FH model with a number of changes: a new Euro 6 engine with the symbol D13K, changes to the I-torque drivetrain, an I-see system to help save fuel, and most importantly, a redesign.
