The Peugeot 205 is a passenger car of the city car class produced from 1983 to 1998 by the French company Peugeot.

Several hundred were produced in the Turbo 16 (T16) 4-wheel-drive version, designed jointly by Peugeot and Talbot. One of such copies prepared for rallies was driven by Ari Vatanen, among others. The car won 2 World Rally Championship victories (in 1985 and 1986) and 3 Dakar Rally victories (in 1987, 1988, 1989).
