ROBO 222071 PKP 111Ac Passenger Car Era IV, Warsaw Szczęśliwice Station (with lighting)

A 2nd-class passenger car, type 111Ab, of an older design, as evidenced by the rolled-up lower edge of the car and the sliding door windows, which slide downward—a new feature in our models— and at the same time a characteristic feature of older Y-type car designs.

A total of 212 Type 111Ab cars were manufactured in 1971–1972 by the PaFaWag factory. They were intended for international service. They featured a flat roof, two entrance steps, and multi-voltage steam-electric heating.

The car was overhauled in the mid-1970s, which allows it to be coupled with cars from Era IV, i.e., 222060(1), 222080(1), 211020(1), 233010(1), 244060(1); furthermore, it can be coupled with the EX. Odra train set. These Warsaw-built cars could be found in nearly every corner of Poland. The model can also be connected to an international train set from that era.
