PIKO 96396 ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE ET41 PKP Cargo ep.VI + PluX22 Dec. / with sound / set
E-Lok/Sound ET41 PKP Cargo VI + PluX22.
New from Pico for 2025: Between 1977 and 1980, the Poznan-based Cegielski company delivered a total of 200 electric steam locomotives to serve the heavy freight trains of the Polish State Railways (PKP) under the ET 41 series designation. The high-performance locomotives were the result of the merger of two locomotives, each based on the EU 07 one-piece design. Instead of driver's cabs, which are now missing from the ends of the short coupler, ballast was used to increase friction weight. The frame was simplified and strengthened for freight train service. In daily operation, the ET 41 was used in a wide range of applications, proving its value to this day, especially in heavy mountain transport in southern Poland.
