Diana PC PBandit 4.5 mm - a budget pcp air rifle for target shooting
The Diana PCP Bandit 4.5mm has a classic beech wood barrel, a furrowed steel barrel, mechanical sighting instruments and an 11mm rail for mounting an optoelectronic sight. The sporty character of the air rifle is emphasized by the ergonomic match grip with stipling and finger cutouts. Thanks to such functionality, the airgun provides a stable grip when shooting with one hand. The Diana Bandit 4.5 mm PCP pistol is powered by compressed air stored in a 50 cc aluminum cartridge, mounted under the barrel. From the cartridge filled to a maximum pressure of 200 Bar, we can fire 15 shots with an equal initial velocity of about 200 m/s. The integrated pressure gauge makes it easy to read the pressure in the cartridge, so you can quickly assess what air supply you have. The charging port is protected from contamination by a rotating aluminum cover. The pcp gas drive means that the windgun does not generate any recoil after firing, which affects the comfort and precision of shooting.
The gun uses a furrowed barrel with a length of as much as 229 mm, which has a significant impact on the accuracy and repeatability of shots. At the end of the barrel there is a metal muffler, which reduces the sound of the gunshot and acts as a counterweight to the massive grip. Safety is taken care of by a punctured safety located above the trigger within reach of the finger.
The Diana Bandit 4.5mm can be fed from a 9-shot drum magazine, or a removable single-shot cartridge. Thanks to such functionality, the gun can be used for recreational and sport shooting (sport shooting requirements). A bolt-action mechanism, operated by an enlarged metal lever, is used to load the shot into the chamber. The Diana Bandit 4.5mm pcp pistol features an adjustable DIT trigger mechanism. The trigger of the airgun has little resistance, is easily felt and predictable, which significantly affects the precision and repeatability of shots.
The pistol comes standard with mechanical sighting instruments in the form of a fixed musket and a micrometer sights adjustable in two planes. If you want to try your hand at shooting at a longer distance, you can mount the optical sight of your choice on the 11mm dorsal rail.
