Transporter Düsseldorf in the service of Union Transport

As the second generation of the Düsseldorf transporter, the L 406 was to become a nimble vehicle for fast distribution at Union Transport. Styled in line with Union Transport's red design, it completed the lower level of the fleet in the 1960s. Mercedes-Benz introduced the L 406 as a new series in 1967, adapting it to the look of its generation of cubic vehicles. This transporter was to be widely used as a basic vehicle well into the 1980s. Union Transport was a company that provided reliable distribution of goods both long-distance and to nearby customers.
