PRECISION ARMAMENT Severe-Duty 5.56mm/.223 (1/2-28) Compensator Exhaust Brake

The Precision Armament Severe-Duty M4-72 5.56/.223 Exhaust Brake provides maximum recoil reduction in a rugged and compact package. The brake is compatible with many devices that fit on the standard A2 Birdcage flame suppressor.

Innovative triple baffle design provides the highest recoil reduction in its class. The closed bottom design with upward-facing ports effectively eliminates both recoil and dust rise during shooting. Precision machined from heat-treated stainless steel for superior durability, the M4-72 can withstand extreme heat loads without suffering erosion. Coated with an advanced Ionbond® CrCN coating for high heat resistance (matte black).

Designed for AR15 (.223/5.56mm) carbines with 1/2×28 thread.

Recoil reduction for .223 caliber is 73-75%.

NOTE: not recommended for use with barrels shorter than 14.5 inches and bullpup system carbines due to the high amount of retreating exhaust gas.
