Performance and design

The Double-Alpha EDGE uses a number of industry-leading technologies that set it apart from all other shot timers. Advanced shot detection algorithms and adaptive echo filtering enable fine-tuning of performance for any shooting environment. The microphone's wide range of sensitivity ensures flawless performance across the full spectrum of applications - from airsoft and dry firing practice to indoor shooting of large caliber rifles and pistols.

Power and operation

The device is powered by two CR123A batteries (not included), which provide 25-50 hours of operation, depending on the conditions of use. Power consumption increases with heavy use of the display backlight, flashlight, illuminated buttons or wireless connectivity. The Double-Alpha EDGE is fully compatible with CR123A rechargeable batteries (make sure they are about 34.5mm long, as some are longer), which are readily available from major retailers such as Amazon.
