When it appeared in 1942, the Tiger I represented a significant evolution in German armament, with heavy armor and a powerful 88mm cannon. The Tiger Is produced between November 1942 and June 1943 can be called early production versions, equipped with a tubular dome and rear air filters in the hull. Deployed mainly in new heavy armored battalions, early versions of Tiger Is were largely sent to the Eastern Front, where they enjoyed a distinct advantage.
This is a 1/48 scale plastic model to assemble. Length: 175 mm, width: 77 mm. The massive, heavily armored Tiger I model is artistically reproduced in 1/48 scale, with faithful reproduction of the vehicle's early features. Realistically reproduced suspension with mounting type tracks using one-piece straight sections. Install the included weights in the plastic lower hull to give the model a realistic look. Includes 2 marking options for tanks used on the Eastern Front.
