DPM Mechanical Recoil Reduction System for 5" Barrels on 1911 10MM AUTO and 460 ROWLAND Pistols

 - 12 adjustable settings!!!

The DPM mechanical recoil reducer is a direct replacement for the standard recoil reduction rod and does not alter the pistol’s configuration.

The system operates via a multi-spring rod (three springs) and controls the pistol’s operation. The third spring, located inside the rod, controls the slide’s movement, preventing it from striking the frame.

The system includes 2 different spring plugs and 2 sets of 3 external springs (with wire diameters of 1.10 mm and 1.15 mm) . The adjustable spring plugs offer two different buffer forces (full-open position of the slide), while the external springs only affect the closed position of the slide (slid over the battery).

The 1.10 mm springs are softer than the 1.15 mm springs.

1.10 mm external springs

  • Short: 9 pounds / 4 kg
  • Medium: 10 pounds / 4.5 kg
  • Long: 11 pounds / 5 kg

1.15 mm outer springs

  • Short: 12 pounds / 5.45 kg
  • Medium: 13 pounds / 5.9 kg
  • Long: 14 pounds / 6.35 kg

Slide to the fully open position:

- Short plug: 24 pounds / 10.9 kg (approximately)

- Long plug: 30 pounds / 13.6 kg (approximately)

General advantages:

  • Faster aiming of the pistol at the target
  • Improved rate of fire
  • Protection of slides and frames
  • Elimination of jams
  • Significant reduction in recoil
  • Better control and greater accuracy
