Eemann Tech "STANDARD MAJOR" return spring calibration kit for 1911/2011 pistols and their clones with 5" barrel length according to IPSC classification.

The "STANDARD MAJOR" package includes:

  • ET-111332 / 12 lbs - 1 pc.
  • ET-111333 / 13 lbs - 1 pc.
  • ET-111334 / 14 lbs - 1 pc.
  • ET-111335 / 15 lbs - 1 pc.

Progressive springs differ from regular springs in that they have a decreasing distance between coils, starting from the center of the spring to the last coil.

Under pressure, the spring acts in two phases:

1. The first half of the spring, with identical spacing between the coils, begins to compress from the beginning.
2. When the first half is fully compressed, the second half, with reduced coil spacing, begins to compress.
Each coil increases the compression of the spring. Full compression provides maximum resistance and reduces the recoil impulse.
