EEMANN TECH COLT Return spring for 1911/2011 - calibration kit (119001) OPEN MAJOR

Eemann Tech's "OPEN MAJOR" return spring calibration kit is designed for 1911/2011 pistols and their clones with 5-inch barrels, used according to IPSC rules.

The "OPEN MAJOR" package includes:

• ET-111326 / 6 lbs - 1 pc.
• ET-111327 / 7 lbs - 1 pc.
• ET-111328 / 8 lbs - 1 pc.
• ET-111329 / 9 lbs - 1 pc.

Progressive springs differ from regular springs in that they have a decreasing distance between the coils, from the center to the last coil. When pressure is applied, the spring works in two phases:

1. The first half of the spring, with identical spacing between the coils, begins to compress.
2. When the first half is fully compressed, the second half, with reduced coil spacing, begins to compress.

Each coil increases the compression force of the spring, providing maximum resistance and reducing the recoil impulse. Each Eemann Tech Recoil spring is uniquely colored, making it easy to identify its strength throughout its life.
