TheZlin Z-526 is a Czechoslovakian aerobatic aircraft designed in 1959 by Zlin Aircraft.
In 1970, a single-seat version was developed, the Z-526 AFS Akrobat Special in which the wingspan was reduced and an Avia M-137A engine was installed.
In total, more than 1,400 Z-526s were produced in many versions, which flew in Czechoslovakia, the USA, Germany, Bulgaria, Italy, New Zealand, France, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, South Africa and the USSR, among others. Many of these aircraft are still flying today.
