Grit / sand is an excellent product for use in modeling, suitable for making dioramas, etc. This material is best glued with wikol glue, polymer glue or similar. When mounded and glued on a base or model, it looks realistic and perfectly imitates the ground. It also looks very good as ballast for railroad tracks, streetcar tracks, etc.
