Wide-MAXX 4S 89086-4-development version of the Maxx 4S model / RED version - red color.
In order to further enhance the capabilities of the Maxx, the manufacturer made several changes that formed a new version - Wide-Maxx 4S.
A WideMAXX kit was installed on the model, along with Sledgehammer tires.
New control arms, half-shafts and a set of 1.725 rate rear shock springs, combined with Sledgehammer wheels, widen the track width by 40mm compared to the Maxx and as a result, dramatically increase stability in corners.
The drive pack mount has also been modified, making it possible to use a 6700mAh 4S battery.
All this creates a new quality even in relation to the existing - high quality Maxx 4S.
The Velineon 4S drivetrain consists of a 540XL brushless motor and a regulator that has advanced - 32-bit microprocessor control, constantly monitoring power output to ensure maximum performance. The high-performance 540XL motor features a powerful 5-millimeter shaft, an aluminum heat sink and a powerful cooling fan. Of course, all of this is fully protected thanks to Traxxas' innovative waterproofing.
The Wide-Maxx is designed to withstand extreme loads and intense driving. The shock-absorbing suspension arms easily absorb impacts.
Rugged drivetrain components have been tested on vehicles larger and heavier than the Wide-Maxx. The Wide-Maxx's chassis absorbs and dissipates impact energy throughout the structure. Huge - threaded GT-Maxx large-diameter aluminum shock absorbers manage suspension damping.
Extreme power. Extreme durability. Extreme fun! This is the foundation on which the Wide-Maxx experience is built. With a new platform that is smaller and lighter, Traxxas engineers have raised the speed to nearly 100km/h and tuned it for even higher performance and doubled the strength and durability.
