Surface Primer is an acrylic-polyurethane primer, available in a range of basic shades most commonly used to prepare the surface of a model for the painting process. The primer can be applied to all surfaces, resin, PVC, brass, white metal or wood. The primer improves the adhesion of colors applied over this base. The product dries quickly and forms a homogeneous film of extraordinary strength and resistance within a few hours after application. Surface Primer can be applied directly or thinned with Vallejo Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. Recommended compressor settings are approximately 15-20 PSI or 0.5 to 1 kg. For best airbrush maintenance, Vallejo Airbrush Cleaner is recommended.
Surface Primer is non-flammable and solvent-free. It is available in 17 ml/0.57 fl oz bottles (with dropper) and in larger sizes of 60 ml/2.02 fl oz and 200 ml/6.76 fl oz (with flip-top and dropper).
