TheBoeing 747 is a wide-body, long-range, passenger aircraft manufactured by the Boeing Company commonly known as the Jumbo Jet.

The first Boeing 747 was flown on February 9, 1969, and production ended on December 6, 2022. The last machine in the 747-8F cargo version with the registration number N863GT was ceremonially handed over to Atlas Air on January 31, 2023. A total of 1,574 were produced in multiple versions.

The Boeing 747 is one of the largest passenger aircraft in the world, it takes 366 to 660 passengers depending on the version, the propulsion is provided by 4 jet engines, in case of failure of one of the engines it can continue flying on the remaining 3 (it is certified). The aircraft has a 59.6 - 68.5 meter span / 70.6 - 76.4 meter length, a kerb weight of 162,400 - 185,972 kg, and a takeoff weight of 333,390 - 442,253 kg and a range of 9800 - 14,815 km ( depending on the version ).
