Whoever drove the Manta did not want to hide. Quite the opposite. In the 1970s, the sports sedan was popular everywhere in bright colors. The sporty yellow Opel shone widely on German roads. The WIKING debuts the second-generation Manta as a colorful duo. The coupé was produced from 1975 to 1988 and, with power ranging from 55 to 110 hp, was sometimes conservative and sometimes sporty. Traditional modelers round out the program with a popular young timer that has many friends yesterday and today - not to mention cult movies. The body with two horizontal cooling air intakes forms the harmoniously closed front of the Manta, so typical of a sports coupé. An interior mirror is engraved on the windshield, while the bumpers are tucked into the chassis. The WIKING has distinctive rectangular-shaped headlights, and the interior features a separate steering wheel with new shapes. This, too, is possible: in the days of the Manta B, the purist two-spoke steering wheel was very popular among drivers.
