ROBO 280321 PASSENGER WAGON PKP 209C station Gdynia ( with lights )
The 209C baggage wagon was developed in 1971, and it was not until 1974 that 1 unit of the 208C type was produced. It was probably a prototype for the serial production of 209C wagons. A total of 100 units of 209C wagons were produced ( 20 units of 209C and 80 units of 209Ca). A large number of these railcars were withdrawn in 2003, when mail and baggage trains were suspended. The factory paint job was olive-gray, while in 1993-1996 they were repainted in brown and cream.

The new lighting board has been designed so that the interior and end-of-compartment lighting can be controlled without the use of a function decoder (a special board, which is in preparation, and end-of-compartment lights will be required). The board also has the ability to connect a function decoder, using which it will be possible to control the lighting in each compartment independently. The lighting works in both analog and digital systems.
Instructions for the lighting board can be found in the tab above.
