ROBO 272311 PASSENGER WAGON PKP 209C Zamosc station ( with lights )
The 609A type car was a 2nd class car originally with a luggage compartment, which was modified to carry bicycles. It was produced at the Hipolit Cegielski plant in Poznan between 1981 and 1982. According to sources, a total of 100 cars were produced in the 609A and 609Ar versions.

The new lighting board has been designed so that the interior and end-of-compartment lighting can be controlled without the use of a function decoder (a special board, which is in preparation, and end-of-compartment lights will be required). The board also has the ability to connect a function decoder, using which it will be possible to control the lighting in each compartment independently. The lighting works in both analog and digital systems.
