This model refers to the legendary "Ost-West Express" train, which for many years was a key connection on the PKP network. As a continuation of the famous "Nord Express", it provided a route from Warsaw to Western Europe, in particular to Paris, Brussels, Ostend, Rotterdam, Hoek van Holland and via ferries and British Railways to London.

The set also includes miniature directional signs, which can be independently mounted on the carriage body. Noting an error in the name of the Jeumont station on the board is a faithful reproduction of the original board from the Wars sleeping car known from a video recorded in the winter of 1994 in Zbąszynek (available on the YouTube platform).
