TheChevrolet Corvette is an American sports car produced since 1953, and the eighth generation of the car began production in 2020.

Responsible for the creation of the Corvette was Harley Earl, a sports car enthusiast. The first premiere of this car took place in the summer of 1953 at the Motorama exhibition. The body made of plastic was set on a steel frame, the engine with a capacity of 3860 had a power of 150 hp, later it was already "squeezed out" 195 hp. In 9 years, 69015 copies of the Corvette C1 were produced.

Chevrolet Corvette VII was presented for the first time in 2013. The VII generation underwent a major change, the car gained a more massive and "muscular" silhouette with a large air intake at the front, the rear end changed the lamp layout with a more angular form. A 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine with 461 horsepower was installed to power it.

A new Z06 model was unveiled at the 2014 Detroit "Motor Show." Slight changes were made to the exterior design. The front splitter was added, the grill and rear spoiler were changed. The power of the 6162 cm³ supercharged V8 LT4 engine was 625 hp !!! and was transferred to the wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission. It is the second most powerful Corvette in history.
