Volkswagen Garbus: a motoring legend, called VW Käfer ("beetle") in Germany, VW Beetle ("beetle") in English-speaking countries, and Volkswagen Garbus in Poland, was produced from 1938 to 2003, and more than 21,000,000 units came off the line !
The T1 type was designed and put into production in the 1930s, but mass production did not begin until 1945. In this car, the engine was rear-mounted air-cooled, the body was a two-door fastback sedan with a flat windshield and was designed to carry 4 people. The last unit rolled off the line after 58 years of production (counting from the end of World War II) on July 30, 2003 with the number 21,529,464.
