MAISTO 1/18 CHEVROLET CORVETTE "1965 blue

The Chevrolet Corvette is an American sports car produced since 1953, and the eighth generation of the car began production in 2020.

Responsible for the creation of the Corvette was Harley Earl, a sports car enthusiast. The first premiere of this car took place in the summer of 1953 at the Motorama exhibition. The body made of plastic was set on a steel frame, the engine with a capacity of 3860 had a power of 150 hp, later it was already "squeezed" 195 hp. In nine years 69015 copies of the Corvette C1 were produced.

Chevrolet Corvette II was presented in 1962. The frame, front suspension and body were modified, the rear window divided by a center pillar was changed to panoramic for safety reasons in 1964. A 327 V8 engine with 365 horsepower was used for propulsion.
