Chevrolet Chevelle is an American road cruiser produced from 1963 to 1977.
The Chevelle SS was the second generation, which gained a roofline referring to fastbacks. In 1971, the L34 402 V8 (350, 375 hp), LS5 454 V8 (360 hp) and LS6 454 V8 (450 hp) engines were installed. Unfortunately, due to the fuel crisis, power downgrades began in 1972 and versions with L65 350 V8 (165 hp), 350 V8 (175 hp), LS3 402 V8 (240 hp), LS5 454 V8 (270 hp) engines were available.
