A 2nd-class passenger car of the 111Ac type, featuring a newer design, as evidenced by the car’s straight lower edge and solid, non-opening door windows.

A total of 212 type 111Ab cars were manufactured between 1971 and 1972 by the PaFaWag factory. They were intended for international service. They featured a flat roof, two entrance steps, and multi-voltage steam-electric heating.

The car was overhauled in the mid-1970s, which allows it to be coupled with cars from Era IV, i.e., 222060(1), 222070(1), 211020(1), 233010(1), and 244060(1); furthermore, it can be coupled with the EX. Odra train set. These Warsaw-built cars could be found in nearly every corner of Poland. The model can also be connected to an international train set from that era.

Our model features:

  • split windows in the doors
  • 2 switch boxes on the undercarriage and one battery box
  • "smoking" and "non-smoking" markings on the compartment windows
  • an interior painted in accordance with the colors in use during that era
  • markings on the car typical of Era IVb
  • recreation of second-class compartments
  • rubber rollers for inter-car connections (short couplers eliminate the gap between cars)
  • luggage racks in each compartment
  • Accurate reproduction of second-class seats for this specific car type
  • a doormat at the entrance to the aisle
  • glass panels in the car’s interior doors and compartment entrances
  • class number on the glass panes of the doors leading to the aisle
  • 5 types of axle boxes in the bogies
  • wires in the bogies
  • heating/power cable on the end wall of the car
  • short hoses pre-installed on the car’s end panel (long hoses for self-installation)
  • Accurately reproduced undercarriage
  • markings on the car’s undercarriage and running gear
  • The model is prepared for installation of ROBO 000002 lighting; it features current collectors in the bogies, to which wires are soldered and routed inside the model
