Ballistol Aluminum-Brünierung for black oxidation of aluminum surfaces is easy to use even for laymen, abrasion-resistant and durable. This makes it ideal for repairing scratches and abrasions, but also for re-oxidizing.
Application Tip: The oxidation coating is distinguished by its very easy application. Just remember to degrease the surface before oxidizing. If necessary, the surface can also be lightly sanded. The agent should be applied evenly and left for 20-30 seconds. Then wipe dry and reapply. After 3-4 repetitions, rinse with water and finally preserve. Important: do not apply at temperatures below 20°C.
The agent is very efficient, about 100 ml is needed per square meter.
To ensure safe and proper use, read the instructions for use. Aluminum and aluminum alloys come in many different compositions. Therefore, oxidation can produce different results. A table showing the effects that can be achieved by "bronzing" aluminum can also be found in the instruction manual. Always make a test in an invisible place.
