The Clawgear front sight rail for the AK-47 is a precision upgrade designed for AK platforms equipped with a standard front sight base. It replaces the original front sight and allows for the direct mounting of modern sighting systems, such as red dot or holographic sights. The integrated spare front sight takes over the role of the original front sight and ensures the rifle can still be used even without an optical sight.
Made of hard, MIL-SPEC III anodized aluminum, the mount features a 9-slot Picatinny rail (NATO STANAG 4694) and offers high durability with a lightweight design. The contoured bottom section fits perfectly against the receiver cover, allowing the rifle to be laid flat on the ground even with the mount installed. Three adjustment screws allow for precise alignment with the barrel axis.
