TheMi-28 is a Russian two-seat attack helicopter, designed as a counterpart to the American Apache.
The first flight of the Mi-28 prototype took place in1982, and the decision to produce it at the Rostvertov plant was not made until 1988.
In 2003, the commander of the Russian Air Force announced that the Mi-28N became Russia's primary attack helicopter, it did not enter service until 2009. The baptism of fire took place in Syria in 2016. The 28NE version was an export version, and the first customer was Kenya.
