SUPER STICKER FOR 4 VERSIONS - COLOR MANUAL
The Hawker Hurricane was the most common fighter used by the British Royal Air Force at the beginning of World War II. The Hurricane was powered by a 12-cylinder, in-line, liquid-cooled Rolls-Royce Merlin engine with more than 1,000 horsepower, which developed a speed of more than 500 km/h. the 8 Browning cal. 7.7mm machine guns it was equipped with also guaranteed good firepower. Although it was slower and more aerodynamically obsolete than the famous "fellow" Supermarine Spitfire, with which it shared operational involvement during the Battle of Britain, it was still more robust, economical and easier to maintain and repair. It was also easier to fly, and pilot training was faster. It contributed significantly to the RAF's victory in the Battle of Britain, but over the course of the war it gradually surrendered its role as a first-line fighter in favor of the much more modern Spitfire.
