North American P-51 Mustang - an American fighter aircraft of the World War II period. The design was created in 1940, and after 46 years the last project based on the P-51 was completed at the same time withdrawing this magnificent aircraft from service. A total of 15,000 - 16,000 (some sources say 17,000) were produced in many versions.
