EDUARD 1/48 MIDWAY F4F-3 and F4F-4 Wildcat DUAL COMBO (11166) + cążki gratis
F4F Wildcat - American single-engine, single-seat fighter aircraft of World War II.
The F4F was the U.S. Navy's first fighter monoplane, replacing the Grumman F3F biplanes on aircraft carriers.
It was developed and manufactured at Grumman Aircraft's Bethpage plant on Long Island near New York. The aircraft was flown on September 2, 1937, and series production lasted from 1940 to 1945.
Wildcat participated in all the battles in the Pacific (from the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor to the end of the Solomon Islands campaign in early 1943). The F4F-3 was equipped with squadrons and naval infantry, and from November 1941 a modified F4F-4 with folding wings and reinforced armament was already being introduced.
