The de Havilland Mosquito is a two-seat, twin-engine World War II aircraft. Designed at the de Havilland company, it was produced in many versions as a fighter, fighter-bomber, bomber and photo reconnaissance aircraft. It was flown on November 25, 1940, after which the "wooden miracle" was produced until 1950 in the number of 7781 copies. The aircraft was made mainly of lightweight balsa wood and plywood glued with casein glue and aluminum parts.
