Mig-29 modern frontline fighter of Soviet production, designed at the MiG design bureau in 1972 and flown on October 6, 1977. The maximum speed of this aircraft is 2445 km/h, the takeoff weight is 18480 kg, and the range is 1750 km (with an additional fuel tank 2100 km).
The MiG-29SMT is a multi-role first-line fighter, a development of the MiG-29. The SMT surpasses its predecessor in almost every respect: flight range, improved navigation and targeting equipment, a very wide range of armaments, including various anti-ship missiles, as well as adjustable bombs. There is also the possibility of mid-air refueling, which has further enhanced the capabilities of this highly successful aircraft.
