The Yakovlev Yak-130 is a unique training aircraft, designed to train pilots of third-, fourth- and fifth-generation aircraft, such as Su-27, MiG-29, Su-25, Su-30, F-16, F-15 , F-16, F-22, F-35, Mirage, Harrier and others. In addition to its unique training capabilities, the Yak-130 can be used as a light attack, reconnaissance, fighter-bomber and electronic warfare aircraft. The aircraft's armament includes R-73 "Archer" guided air-to-air missiles, unguided C-8, C-13, C-25 OFM missiles, and conventional aerial bombs weighing up to 500 kg. The combination of features, capabilities and cost makes this aircraft unique in its role. In service since 2010, it will be the main trainer of the Russian Air Force, other users are Belarus, Burma, Bangladesh, Algeria.
