The DAA Dry-Fire Practice Magazine is designed to simulate the action of a real loaded magazine as much as possible. This allows you to practice dry-fire without introducing dummy ammunition to load the magazine. Additionally, you don't use up your magazines "for competition."

Inside the DAA magazines, steel weights are used to simulate the weight of a fully loaded magazine, and the patented spring-loaded feeder system makes magazine cocking a very realistic experience. In addition, the tension exerted by the spring ensures that the magazine does not tele in the gun and falls out with similar force as in the original.

DAA magazines do NOT activate the slide stop mechanism, so you can practice reloading without releasing the breech.

The DAA Dry-Fire Practice Mag is made of durable nylon and can really take a lot. However, we suggest that you don't drop them on concrete because they are heavy and this can cause damage.

Will the DAA magazine fit my gun?

We can't guarantee that the magazine will fit every model and every manufacturer, there are simply too many of them. What we can say, however, is this:

  • The magazine for the 1911 model mag was created from the Megar 1911 8-round .45 magazine
  • The magazine for the 2011 model mag was created from an STI 140mm 38S magazine
  • The magazine for the Glock was created from a 9mm G17 Gen4 magazine
  • Magazine for CZ was created from a SP01 9mm mag, was also tested for Shadow 2
  • Magazine for SIG320 was created from a magazine for P320 9mm

Warning:
We do not recommend using these magazines for dry firing in combination with CoolFireTrainer!
The rapid breech movement generated by the CFT, combined with the spring-loaded retractor, causes the magazine to surge during firing cycles.
This leads to excessive wear in the magazine grip area and can render the magazine unusable.

US Patent Pending.
