The Spider-line magazine base plate for the 1911 pistol features a deeper, milled pocket, which reduces spring tension when the magazine is fully loaded (for example, 10 rounds of 9x19 ammunition). This makes magazine changes significantly easier, faster, and smoother than with the original magazine baseplate.
The aggressive texture, precision-milled from a solid block of material, gives the Spider Line a “skin-on-metal” feel, providing the necessary grip surface for precise and confident reloading.
