PIKO 50606 LOCOMOTIVE - PAROCOMOTIVE BR 78 DR ep.III + PluX22 ( with sound )

Finally, a contemporary replacement for the very popular and formerly widely used BR 78 appears in the form of a new design from PIKO - and with it the first steam locomotive in the Expert product line. The model suspends the established standard of the Expert series a little higher. Almost all of the lines have been made freestanding, with the driver's cab, water boxes and smokebox decorated with the best reproductions of rivet heads. The wheelset stars and steering system can be extremely filigree due to the materials used. The five-speed PIKO engine with flywheel mass provides excellent handling characteristics. Additional weights in the boiler and two traction tires provide high pulling power. A PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 with mfx function is installed at the factory. A speaker and smoke kit can also be installed with minimal effort. Directional LED lighting provides an authentic working atmosphere. Retrofit brake lines are included.
