A new variation of the ExcelBlack blade, whose cutting edge - subjected to a two-stage honing - is further enhanced with a fluorinated polymer coating. The low friction of the polymer coating on the edge of the blade results in reduced force required to cut through the material, a smooth cut and long retention of the exceptional initial cutting ability. This type of technology is used in the manufacture of shaving knives, among others.
SPEED BLADE generates 50% less cutting resistance when cutting cardboard. In practice, this means that this blade cuts cardboard 2 times faster than the LBB blade ! The name "SPEED BLADE" is stamped with a laser on each blade so that it will not be confused with LBB blades.

OLFA blades are extremely sharp. Use extreme caution when cutting and replacing blades. Used blades can also be dangerous - before throwing them away, protect them using, for example, containers in which new blades are delivered, or use special containers DC-2 and DC-4.
