New 2021: PIKO offers a thematically appropriate set consisting of two powered locomotives with different numbers and two cars closely modeled after the prototype. In keeping with the prototype, both Vectron locomotives were designed in Railpool printing. The doors of both locomotives feature PIKO advertising. The set also includes a double-decker Class I/II passenger car and a Class II car. Technical highlights include direction-dependent white/red LED light changes, metal pantographs, profiled wheel sets, prepared sound retrofitting, a powerful engine with flywheel mass and NEM 362-compliant coupling shafts. With PluX22 interfaces, the locomotives are ideally prepared for digital decoder installation.
