401Z - a low-sided wagon designed to carry coal, iron ore, and when the sides were removed, it was used as a platform for carrying heavy vehicles.
Designed in 1960 at the Central Railway Rolling Stock Construction Office in Poznan. Wagon 401 was produced from 1961 to 1963 at Huta Ostrowiec, and from 1966 to 1973 at Swidnica Wagon Factory.

New 2024: Wagon set consisting of two PKP Cargo era VI low-floor wagons. The PKP 401Z wagons have detailed reproduction sidewalls and, depending on the design, different types of sheet metal or wooden flooring. The wagons also impress with careful painting and printing, and have close couplings and, depending on the prototype, attached handwheels, shunting steps, end rails and brake lines. Chains and sidewall chocks have filigree and sharp engraving. Due to their excellent rolling characteristics, the cars are equally suitable for use on block trains or mixed freight trains.
