This is a set of six figurines of French soldiers counterattacking German forces in the early stages of World War II. The set includes a squad leader holding a pistol and issuing commands, four gunners in various attack positions, and a machine gunner in a reclining position taking aim, adding to the tension of the situation they are in. In addition to the open combat uniform and coat worn by the soldiers, the "Kepi" helmet characteristic of the French army is also included. French soldiers are equipped with M1936 rifles and a Mle1924/29 machine gun, and pistol holsters add a realistic finishing touch.
In the early stages of World War II, French soldiers wore the M1920/35 khaki field uniform supplied since 1935, and many soldiers also wore the M1938 coat. Non-commissioned officers were equipped with the M1932 coat and leather gaiters. When not engaged in combat, all soldiers wore a kepi helmet.
