The laser-cut kit includes elements of the skeleton which in the original cutout need to be underlaid with the appropriate thickness of cardboard. The elements in the kit are precisely cut with a laser plotter right away in cardboard of the correct thickness and only require pushing out of the sheet with a finger (they are connected only by small "paws").
