The decoder is a multi-protocol decoder for DCC and Märklin Motorola formats. It is designed as a switch decoder for 4 dual-coil switches, and also controls 2 servos. It has 4 output pairs that can also be configured to perform special functions. This makes it possible to create various lighting effects, such as flashing to illuminate a construction site or an advertisement. If the decoder is properly configured, it detects the position of the crossovers with the off limit position on the crossover outputs and reports this position via RailCom. Features: 4 pairs of switched outputs (dual coil), outputs can also be configured as individual outputs, switched positive voltage, power supply optionally from track signal or via external power supply for switched load, various output functionalities: pulse, continuous, flashing, dimming, signals, random control (also for servo outputs). Switching current up to max. 5 A per output, total decoder max. 5 A. With E-socket to supply switching current through a separate transformer. Maximum total decoder current can be adjusted. LEDs on outputs indicate switching command, track input, programming on programming track, programming on main track (POM), address programming also by pushbutton, RailCom. The servo outputs are configurable in terms of ranges and speed of motion. Total supply current for both servos: 300 mA continuous, 450 mA short term.
