Alpha Trains is the leading lessor of rail vehicles in Europe. The company owns more than 950 locomotives and multiple units. November 2022. Alpha Trains has ordered 15 additional Vectron locomotives. The new Vectron MS and AC locomotives, with a maximum power output of 6.4 megawatts and a top speed of 200 km/h, complement Alpha Trains' existing fleet. The locomotives are used in traffic between Germany, Austria and Italy, among others.
