New from Pico for 2025: In the 1950s, PKP accelerated the electrification of its main lines and purchased suitable electric locomotives on a large scale. As a further development of the licensed EU06 locomotive, the universal EU07 series based on English designs appeared in the early 1960s, which, together with the chassis types, constitutes the most widely built family of four-axle Polish electric locomotives.
