CM series mats with a thickness of 2 mm are designed for cutting on them with moderate force with segmented knives, scalpels and cutting circles. High quality and affordable price make the CM series mats an attractive addition to the workshop for art and modeling work. The mat is double-sided, with printed centimeter graduations on one side and inch graduations on the other.
Due to EU restrictions on allowing products containing phthalates - used as plasticizers in polymer and rubber materials - on the market, OLFA has introduced some technological changes in the production process of cutting backing mats. The material from which OLFA mats are made includes the phthalate DEHP, specified in EU directives. Although its content in the produced mats is at a much lower level than allowed by the introduced standards, OLFA has decided to replace mats in the EU markets produced from polymer of the current chemical composition with mats made from polymer plasticized with additives compliant with the REACH directive, without DEHP phthalate (DEHP free). In the designation of these mats appears an additional symbol - RC.
NOTE
- Mats should be stored lying flat - they cannot be bent or rolled
- Protect mats from heat - do not iron on them with an iron
- Mats should not be left in direct sunlight
- Do not use mats for cutting with MC-45 and MC-45/DX knife
