The Alpha v3 is an improved version and also a successor to Redox's extremely popular and well-liked Alpha v2 charger.
The charger's new, updated software now allows it to charge high-voltage lithium polymer (LiHV) batteries and also includes 5 additional unique features to improve the charger's performance and make it a truly versatile modeling tool. In addition, the user has gained many more functions to regulate the behavior of the charger during as well as after the charging/discharging process.
The charger's current parameters are similar to the v2 version, however, thanks to program optimization and built-in internal resistance sensors, the manufacturer has achieved even better timing results when charging batteries.
Features unique to the Redox Alpha v3 charger:
- Meter Lixx Battery Status - full information about the connected pack: % charge, type, current voltage, voltage on each cell
- Battery IR - meter of the internal resistance (resistance) of the cells in the connected lithium battery, so you can accurately analyze the condition of the battery cells
- Lithium Battery Balancer - Independent of the charging/discharging process, a built-in balancer for lithium cells that allows you to equalize voltages between cells in the pack.
- Digital Power - Thanks to this function, the charger acts as a current supply with adjustable power and voltage of the injected current (up to max. 27V / 5A !)
- SMART battery charger - a function that allows you to individually, manually set the operating parameters of the charger with which it would apply current to the charged cells.
