Why do I need a gun string?
In the case of a very dirty barrel, after using our Barrel Foam and then rinsing it with Gun Cleaner or Care Spray, it is a good idea to clean the barrel at least twice with string.
This will ensure that we remove any remaining dirt and dry the barrel of the product. This is especially true if we don't have the wipers with us.
Always insert the string from the cartridge chamber and pull it towards the barrel exit. The string should always be pulled straight out of the barrel. Pulling out at an angle can damage the barrel crown.
The Riflecx string has the ability to connect the end and the beginning of the string - this greatly speeds up cleaning the barrel several times.
